We are now looking for a Technical Lead in Electrical Engineering for an international industrial company in process and plant engineering, where complex systems, long-term deliveries, and a comprehensive technical perspective are at the center.

In the role of Technical Lead in Electrical Engineering, you will work to lead and structure the technical electrical work in larger industrial delivery projects.

You will be responsible for interpreting technical specifications and customer requirements, translating these into a feasible technical setup, and ensuring that the right activities are planned and executed on time. The role means that you act as a link between electrical designers, project managers, suppliers, and customers.

The work is less about drawing details yourself and more about taking responsibility for the overall technical delivery. You break down projects into sub-activities, keep timelines together, follow up on progress, and ensure that construction, deliveries, and technical decisions are made according to plan.

An important part of the role is to stay one step ahead in the projects: to identify risks early, drive decisions, provide clear status updates, and actively contribute to ensuring that projects meet their deadlines.

Qualifications

• Technical education in electrical engineering, electrical power, automation, or a related field.

• Experience working with electrical design and industrial electrical systems.

• Previous experience in drawing electrical schematics, electrical cabinets, or working with electrical design.

• Experience from technical projects or delivery organizations.

• Ability to read, interpret, and translate technical specifications into practical solutions.

• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

• Experience leading or coordinating technical work in projects.

• Experience working with the entire electrical system chain: power, control, and motors/equipment.

• Experience working closely with customers and suppliers in delivery projects.

As a person, you are structured, analytical, and solution-oriented. You have the ability to quickly immerse yourself in new projects, ask the right questions, and create order in complex contexts.

You thrive on responsibility, easily collaborate with different roles, and dare to push both internally and towards customers when needed. You are communicative, unpretentious, and have a clear drive to get projects across the finish line.

The role is placed in an international project organization with long-term deliveries to global industry.

The work involves close collaboration with project management, designers, suppliers, and customers, as well as participation in larger delivery projects with high demands on quality, planning, and execution.

Employment form: You will work as a consultant for 12 months with the ambition to subsequently be employed directly by the customer
